Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. Rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, 4pm in St. Mary's Parish.  Contact the choir director:St. Mary's-John Winthrop at             777-5329; St. Joseph's- Maggie Lee at 777-2216.

Pro-Life Ministry

Unite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. No experience required. Contact the coordinators, Eric Winegart at 777-0709.

Eucharistic Adoration

Monday evenings beginning at 6:30pm at           St. Joseph's Mission in Florence. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by all to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. 

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Mary's Parish and St. Joseph's Mission.

Stations of the Cross

Generally held evenings during Lent.

Usher

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. Monday Night Prayer Group

Join us Monday nights at 6:30 pm in St. Joseph's church in Florence for Rosary and Adoration.

Altar Server

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith.

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Flowers and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church. Contact Tom Elkinton at 240-7553.

Greeters

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Lector

Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Summer Breakfast/Lunch Program

Provides FREE meals M-F during the summer months to anyone 18 years old and younger. contact Rita Pfau at 546-8916.
